Lawrence police swarmed a south Lawrence apartment Tuesday afternoon as part of a drug investigation, a police spokesman said. Police initially did not comment, but on Wednesday Sgt. Bill Cory said investigators served a search warrant in the 800 block of West 25th Street. He said he was unable to provide other specifics about the arrest or the drug case because the investigation wasn’t over. Multiple officers were involved in the arrest. Cory said all drug investigations have the potential to be dangerous.
