Extension Council’s annual meeting set
The Douglas County Extension Council’s annual meeting will be at 6 p.m. Monday at the Dreher Family 4-H Building at the Douglas County 4-H Fairgrounds, 2110 Harper St.
The evening will include a business meeting and dinner. Secretary Roderick L. Bremby of the Kansas Department of Health and Environment will be the keynote speaker.
Bremby will speak about the HealthyKansas initiative.
Extension council members will also be recognized. Leaders will present the Extension Appreciation Award. Members of the 2010 Douglas County Extension Council Executive Board will also be installed.
