Sade Morris scores career-high 26 points in KU women’s 77-66 win over Michigan

Sade Morris scored a career-high 26 points, leading the Kansas women to a 77-66 victory over Michigan on Sunday at Allen Fieldhouse.

Morris became the 21st player in KU women’s history to record 1,000 points in a career.

Aishah Sutherland added her second double-double of the year, adding 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Danielle McCray also scored 11 points, but she was just 5-for-20 from the floor.

KU (3-0) will face No. 9 Xavier on Thursday at the Junkanoo Jam tournament in Freeport, Bahamas.
