Lawrence-area farmers and crafters will be having a “Christmas Sale in the Country.”

The sale will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and Sunday and Nov. 28-Nov. 29 at Pendleton’s Country Market, 1446 E. 1850 Road.

More than 20 vendors will be offering a variety of homegrown and homemade gifts.

Among the items for sale: poinsettias, dried flower arrangements, handcrafted chocolates, fruitcake, chestnuts, handcrafted soaps, handmade soy candles, honey, lavender products, baskets and ceramics.
