Cordley School in central Lawrence will officially open its new picnic shelter on Saturday, and the community’s invited to attend.
Refreshments will be served at a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9 a.m. at the school, 1837 Vt. The project has taken six years because the shelter was completed as the school received funding for it.
