A free seminar designed to help people who want to start a business is set for Wednesday afternoon. It also will be offered next Monday night.

The event will be offered from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday and again from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday at Kansas University Small Business Development Center, 734 Vt.

Among issues the seminars will address are permits, licenses, accounting, taxes, marketing, financing and business plans.
