FBI agent to give Chandler lecture

An FBI agent featured in the movie “The Informant!” will deliver the Anderson Chandler lecture at Kansas University on Dec. 1.

Robert Herndon, a graduate of the KU School of Business, will deliver the lecture “Clues from the Convicts: Life Lessons on Character, Leadership and Ethics From the Files of the FBI” at 7 p.m. Dec. 1 at the Lied Center on KU’s West Campus.

The lecture is open to the public. Herndon, who joined the FBI as a special agent in 1986, worked on the Archer Daniels Midland price fixing case profiled in the movie, which stars Matt Damon.

He also played a large role in the investigation and conviction of a Kansas City-area pharmacist who diluted chemotherapy drugs for cancer patients.
