Better than that

To the editor:

First and foremost, I am a huge Jayhawk fan and like all KU fans I have a healthy dislike of K-State. I am, however, very disgruntled with the few fans who thought it might be a good idea to vandalize the sidewalks and some cars at the Vanier Complex in Manhattan. Whoever you are have embarrassed the rest of the KU fan base and have added fuel to the fire.

The K-State fans I know are starting to lump our actions in with the fans from Missouri. What KU fan wants to be in any way affiliated with Missouri? Who cares if the K-State fans vandalize some billboard on the interstate with letters known only to them? All KU fans know we’re better than that, so let’s start acting like it!

Until I see proof that this really happened, then I don't believe it. No one except Snyder saw the alleged graffiti. Don't believe everything a senile 70 year old coach says. Also, I might note that "they" started it. Look at the billboard they've defaced for the 2nd time in a few months. Who's going to Manhattan with me tonight to paint that Powercat black & gold?

If no one other than Snyder saw the alleged graffitti, is it possible he created this as an incentive for his football team? football coaches are supposed to be good motivators and this would surely do that. Just a thought.

Uhh, not sure how to tell you this Hydra - but those two events happened in reverse order. Williams left well before Perkins was brought in. Williams crushed Bohl like a dove, remember? Blame Perkins for whatever you want, but as AD at UConn, he had nothing to do with Williams going home.
