Free childhood screenings offered

Lawrence Early Childhood Special Services will provide free developmental screenings for children from 3 to 5 years old.
The screening looks at preschoolers’ walking, talking, hearing, vision, thinking and play skills. All screenings are by appointment at the East Heights Early Childhood Family Center, 1430 Haskell Ave., and will be offered on Tuesday, Nov. 24 and Dec. 8.
To schedule an appointment, call Edie Boehle at 330-1643 or Rusty Schnur-Shelton at 330-4476.
