Drop-outs, by Tyler Kruzel

Students face difficulties everyday at school. Many students are overwhelmed with those difficulties and feel forced to drop out. Family, school, or self motivations are common excuses that some have for dropping out. Life seems too hard to be in school in the eyes of dropouts.
Many students drop out because of family issues. If the student feels like he has to take care for the family then he will have a greater chance of dropping out. For example, if a student’s family is having difficulty with money then the student feels a responsibility for his family and sacrifices his education. They leave school to find jobs to help support their family. A student in this position feels like he has no time for school. I feel bad for these kids because they are forced to give up their future to help their families. Every student deserves an education.
For many dropouts school was too difficult for them. Most kids in these situations feel like they will never pass any of their classes. It is hard for them to understand the assignments that are given to them. They become overwhelmed and frustrated with themselves. I believe when someone feels stressed with something they just let it go. Some start off by skipping classes which leads to not showing up to school at all. For anyone, getting an “F” is depressing and seems impossible to get back up, especially if the class is too hard and complicating to understand. Although, I also believe that most of these students do not ask for help when in this situation.
If the school work is hard to understand then you should ask for help from your teachers or family. Most students who drop out do not ask for help. They do not care if they get it or not. The grades mean nothing to them. School to them is only a place to talk to people. They have no self motivation to succeed at school because they do not need school to succeed. They never study and are disrespectful to everyone. They skip school when ever they feel like it. Most of these kids use drugs and hang around others that dropped out. In my prospective, these students are pathetic. They will never succeed in life if they do not try anything that involves work.
