Douglas County Senior Services, 745 Vt., will be host to its annual Fall Chili Feed and Prize Bingo fundraiser from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the agency’s Senior Meals Program. Organizers say there is an extra need this year because of $15,000 in budget cuts to the program that provides more than 250 hot meals every day to local homebound seniors.
Admission to the event is $12.50, and includes all-you-can-eat chili, dessert and beverages, as well as entry into the bingo.
