Lawrence police will be looking for impaired drivers and other driving violations tonight, during a special saturation patrol.

The patrol will be from 5 p.m. until 11 p.m., said Capt. Tarik Khatib.

A police check lane also will be setup from 11 p.m. today until 3 a.m. Saturday, in an undisclosed location in Lawrence, police said. Khatib said officers will be checking driver’s license compliance and enforcing other traffic laws.
