Shawnee ? The Free State soccer team lost, 2-0, to Shawnee Mission Northwest Tuesday.

Grace Lang, Hannah Carlson, Mac Liebl and Annie Libeer played well in the loss, Firebirds coach Jason Pendleton said.

The Firebirds are now 5-8-2.

Free State’s season finale will be 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Lawrence High.
