Rock, Chalk run to benefit Health Care Access

The second annual “Rock, Chalk ... run!” will be at 8 a.m. June 13 at Clinton State Park.
There will be three runs. The 10K race costs $30, the 5K costs $25, and the 1-mile run is free.
Runners get to compete on the Ironman 70.3 Kansas course the day before that event.
The “Rock, Chalk ... run!” will benefit Health Care Access, a nonprofit clinic that serves uninsured, low-income residents of Lawrence and Douglas County. The clinic is experiencing record wait times of nine weeks for a scheduled appointment amid state and local budget cuts.
