Leavenworth ? Lawrence High’s boys golf team placed fifth at the Leavenworth Invite on Monday with a 310 team score, while the Free State boys took 14th with a 363.

Spencer Scott led the Lions with a 75, good for eighth place individually. He was trailed by Joe Noller (76), Jon Cohen (78) and Alex Thompson (81).

Seth McCauley and Evan Schmidt led the Firebirds with 89s.
