Junction City ? Lawrence High’s Spencer Scott paced the LHS boys golf team to a fourth-place finish at Thursday’s Junction City Invitational.

Scott fired a city-best 75 and earned a medal with his eighth-place finish. Tyler Kahn (78), Joe Noller (79), John Cohen (79) and Steve Melton (83) rounded out the Lions’ scorecard.

LHS shot a team score of 311.

Free State, meanwhile, fired a 328 and finished 10th.

The Firebirds were led by Seth McCauley, who shot 80.
