Fundraisers to help Trinity In-Home Care

Trinity In-Home Care will offer social and day care programs at its new location this summer.

The new building, near Sixth Street and Kasold Drive, will offer programs like cooking classes and workshops for teens and adults with developmental disabilities. The center also will have a drop-in child care center for children ages 1 and older.

Trinity is having several fundraisers today to help pay for items such as smoke detectors, a kitchen and playground.

“Rest for Respite” offers yoga, massages and aromatherapy at Pinnacle Career Institute, 1601 W. 23rd St., Suite 200. One-hour sessions are available for purchase at 3 p.m., 4 p.m. and 5 p.m.

“Through the Generations Dance” will offer dancing lessons and music from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Maceli’s, 1031 N.H. Dede Dresser will be the local dance instructor.

The center also will have an all-day “Dine and Donate” event at Applebee’s, 3900 W. Sixth St. Customers who dine at Applebee’s and mention Trinity In-Home Care will have 15 percent of their purchase donated to the center.
