Shucks! I was hoping for another game in Allen Fieldhouse. That one with Arkansas was awesome--a great game to introduce my friend to, who hadn't seen them play before. Good luck, ladies. Will be glued to the radio Monday night.

My apologies the LLobos can’t host Kansas in the Pit – UNM is looking for money and booked in a pro rodeo [pays very well].

The game will be played in the Santa Anna Star Center, a modern and comfortable arena about 35 miles of Albuquerque proper. It’s located in a mostly undeveloped area of high desert [think moonscape]. However, inside it is very nice, if a bit cozy [seats about 6,000].

We can promise you a good crowd – there were 4,500+ for the first two games there – so it won’t be like most tourney games with a couple hundred onlookers. If the game is at all close, it will be VERY noisy. Tell the coaching staff to work on its hand signals – shouting instructions to players won’t work…
