University Bank appoints executive
University National Bank announces that Justin Sparks has been appointed senior vice president in Lawrence, effective Feb. 9.
Sparks, a graduate of New Mexico State University, brings more than 13 years of experience in financial management. He previously served as executive vice president and chief lending officer at Union State Bank in Arkansas City.
Sparks is also an active community member, having served as chairman of the board of directors for South Central Kansas Regional Medical Center, American Red Cross board of directors and the Arkansas City Chamber of Commerce.
He lives in Lawrence with his wife, Emily, and three children, Jade, Peyton and Cale.
