Wakarusa museum has new Web site
The Wakarusa River Valley Heritage Museum has a new Web site.
The site, wakarusamuseum.org, was developed with a $3,000 grant from the Network to Freedom National Park Service. It was designed with the help of Lawrence designer Trent Flory.
The Web site has information and photographs about the museum’s exhibits, the area’s Underground Railroad heritage plus other features.
The museum is near the town of Clinton at Clinton Lake’s Bloomington Park.
