To the editor:

I have been a journalist for 60 years.

Sunday’s column by Leonard Pitts (“Rush won’t lead GOP out of the wilderness”) is the best political column I have ever read. The writing, the logic and the message are so close to perfect that I don’t expect to see a better one in my lifetime.

"I have been a journalist for 60 years."

Yea, so I am sure you have NO bias either way. If he couldn't see what Pitts was doing, calling Limbaugh a leader of the Republican party like the Democrat media machine has been spewing, then you are blind. Like I said, the Democrats have their game on right now, and tieing Limbaugh, that fat, self-aggrandizing, a-hole to the leadership of the Republican party is genius.

That being said, I would rather have him as a leader of a party than Pelosi, whose intelligence I have even see the most hard-core liberals on here question. At least Rush isn't actually in the government.

Pitts was merely calling it like it is, labmonkey. If he weren't, why did the real leader of the Republican Party have to publicly apologize for saying something similar, although in a considerably milder way?

If Republicans don't like Rush as their leader, they should do something about it.

Limbaugh isn't, and doesn't want to be, leader of the Republican party. A few libtards saying that he is doesn't make it so. And a few more libtards like Day, Pitts and bozo parroting it. I love America, where well grounded conservatives have libtards to entertain them.
