Big 12 Conference officials have shifted the starting time for Thursday’s first-round game between Kansas and Nebraska in the Big 12 Conference women’s basketball tournament in Oklahoma City.

The KU-NU game was scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday at Cox Convention Center, but was moved to 1:30 p.m. to avoid conflict with the KU men who will be playing at 11:30 a.m. next door in the Ford Center.

In order to accommodate the change, the women’s game between No. 5 seed Kansas State and No. 12 seed Colorado was switched from 1:30 p.m. to 11 a.m.

Changing the time to keep it from conflicting with the Men is something that should have been done last week for the lady's senior night.

Maybe more people would've shown up if they didn't have to choose between going to that game and staying at home to watch the KU road game.

Hope they avoid something like that in the future.

They should have changed the time for the Men's game instead of the women. But, in typical KU fashion everything bows down to the men's bball team. The NU women's team should not have agreed to it.
