Kansas law authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 4-year-old girl whose mother was found dead in Kansas City, Mo.

An Amber Alert has been issued for Allyson Corrales, a Hispanic female.

Kansas City, Mo. police said the girl’s 27-year-old mother was found dead Friday morning at a home on the city’s eastside. The death is being treated as a possible homicide.

The Kansas Bureau of Investigation issued an alert Friday afternoon, asking for the public’s help in finding the girl. Authorities are looking for a red KIA Sportage, with Missouri license plate PB1-R3R.
