Defense attorney Greg Robinson told the judge he has not received a single police report from the incident and plans on filing several motions prior to the preliminary hearing.

Davis and his 15-year-old son are facing attempted first-degree murder charges.

They are accused of breaking into the victim’s house early June 16 and trying to kill her by striking her repeatedly with a baseball bat.

The victim was able to get away.

Judge Robert Fairchild scheduled a preliminary hearing in the case for July 17.
