A 42-year-old man was sentenced to probation Wednesday, after pleading no contest to three charges related to an April fire at a Eudora woman’s mobile home, prosecutors said.
Donzell Quinn will spend 24 months on probation for charges of arson, making a criminal threat and misdemeanor criminal damage to property.
Sarah Klebenstein and her 17-year-old son escaped their home April 14 after a trash can was set on fire and damaged the mobile home. The structure suffered $4,000 in damage, fire officials said.
Quinn was ordered to serve 90 days in jail for violating probation in another case, prosecutors said.
If he violates his probation in the arson case, he would have to serve 26 months in prison.

Probation for setting fire to an occupied dwelling? What about attempted murder? Why presumptive probation when the loser was already on probation?
