Why isn't channel 6 broadcast OTA so those of us who can't afford cable can still keep up with the local news?

  2. Noweigh (anonymous) says…

That's why it's called "cable". It takes a wire.
    Real simple.

Well Noweigh, abc nbc cbs pbc fox cw ksmo and more are cable channels but broadcast OTA as well, smartass. Easy to be sarcastic when anonymous! Real simple.

    Cloth,
It is a cable channel. abc, nbc, cbs, pbs, fox, cw are broadcast channels. It is no different than ESPN, Discovery, tlc, cspan, etc.

Are you guys really discussing this on an article about the loss of one of the most loved men at the University of Kansas and in Lawrence. Grow up and show some respect...seriously!
