Helicopter dispatched to horse-related accident near Vinland

A LifeStar helicopter has been dispatched to a home in Vinland after a report of an accident involving a person on a horse that left one person seriously injured.

The accident happened in the 1800 block of N. 600 Road. Palmyra Township Fire Department and Lawrence Douglas County Fire & Medical were dispatched to the scene.

nor is Vinland anywhere close to Palmyra township. That's north of Clinton Lake.

The accident was actually in the 1800 block of N. 600 Road, not 1600 Road. It's been corrected.

Palmyra is Wellsville area but this would be between Baldwin and Vinland...2 miles from me ...Hope everyone is alright

Uh, Susie? Ya' know that building on the right-hand side of the road just past the Catholic church on the way from Baldwin to Vinland? That would be the Palmyra Township fire station.
