3:56 a.m. Westar Energy has now restored power to all of its customers in Douglas County, according to the company’s Web site. Approximately 1,600 customers were without power for two hours Thursday morning.

According to Westar Energy, 1,676 of its customers in Douglas County lost power early Thursday morning.

As of 1:50 a.m., those customers remained without power.

The area most affected by the power outages is near the intersection of 27th and Iowa streets.

Late Wednesday night, residents briefly lost power in an area near the intersection of K-10 and I-70.
