Crossword buzz

It’s great to see lawrence.com‘s recently deceased Deadwood edition reprised as the Thursday Pulse section! Lawrence.com content is always fun and first-rate, but it’s an extra treat to get a chance to read it offline every now and again.
And the biggest buzz of all: Merl Reagle’s crossword puzzle! Crossword fans, if you hadn’t checked out Merl’s puzzles when they were in lawrence.com’s Deadwood edition, do so now. He’s one of the country’s most inventive puzzle constructors, and his crosswords are an absolute joy: challenging but not ridiculously so, with none of the tired old clues and answers that fill out run-of-the-mill crosswords.
