Junior Achievement names board officers
Jeff Novorr of Lawrence Memorial Hospital has been re-elected chairman of the Lawrence Junior Achievement board of directors.
Other officers named at the board’s May meeting are Patrick Knorr, The World Company, secretary; Brad Burnside, U.S. Bank, vice president for finance; and Roger Scott, Scott Temperature, vice president for programs.
The 21-member board supervises JA programs, which reach more than 200 classrooms in Lawrence public schools.
Fundraising sources include an annual October bowl-a-thon and a spring online auction.
