Care concern

To the editor:

The United States of America was founded on the principles of freedom and liberty. If future health care allows the government to tell a person they may not have a specific treatment because they are too old, too sick or it’s too expensive then we are no longer a free nation and we have traded our liberty for tyranny.

Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness are considered “unalienable rights” under our Constitution. Currently the right to life is all but nonexistent and liberty is next under Obamacare. What will you do the day they tell you, “We cannot obtain approval for your treatment because you are too old or it’s too expensive?”

Freedom doesn’t just happen. It has to be sought and defended at every turn. At this critical juncture in our nation’s history we must not surrender our freedom to Obamacare.
