United Way garage sale set; volunteers needed
The United Way is inviting the public to set its own price for merchandise at its Priceless Garage Sale Friday and Saturday.
Each day, the sale will begin at 7 a.m. and will last until 1 p.m. at the Eagle’s Lodge, 1803 W. Sixth Street.
Available for purchase will be donated books, gently used clothing, household and kitchen items, furniture, sports equipment, rugs, collectibles and small appliances.
All proceeds will benefit the 2009 United Way campaign.
Volunteers are needed on the days of the sale. To volunteer, or for additional information, contact the United Way office at 843-6626.
