Phone service to be interrupted Wednesday at housing authority

Phones at the Lawrence-Douglas County Housing Authority’s administrative offices will be out of service for about an hour Wednesday morning due to a scheduled upgrade.

Starting at 9 a.m. Wednesday, the outage will affect the housing authority’s main office, 1600 Haskell Ave., plus the offices at Babcock Place, 1700 Mass., and resident services office, 1600 Haskell, No. 187.

Personal phone service of housing authority residents will not be affected during the outage.
