A Franklin County sheriff’s deputy was taken to Ransom Memorial Hospital Monday night after being involved in a t-bone accident at the intersection of Colorado and Reno roads, five miles south of the Douglas County line.

Deputy Jerrod Fredricks was driving on Reno Road, pulled out from a stop sign and was then struck by a vehicle driven northbound on Colorado Road by Keri Harris.

Harris was also taken to Ransom Memorial Hospital with what the Kansas Highway Patrol termed a possible injury.
