Early-bird registration ends on Friday for the Red Dog Run to benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Lawrence.
The fifth annual charitable 4-mile run and 2-mile walk will be 8 a.m. Aug. 8 on the Kansas River levee in North Lawrence. The fundraiser attracts hundreds of runners.
Until the end of the week, registration costs $15. Registration is available online at www.bgclawrence.com, www.active.com, or www.runnersworld.com. Postmarked by Friday, the entry form and fee can also be mailed to Boys and Girls Club, P.O. Box 748, Lawrence, KS 66044.
Participants will receive a T-shirt.
Beginning Saturday through Aug. 7, the registration fee increases to $20, and on race day, the registration fee is $25.
