Dole Institute group to study ’08 campaign

The first summer study group at the Dole Institute of Politics will focus on the 2008 presidential campaign to the White House today.
Dole Fellow Steven Jacques, a nationally recognized Democratic political operative, will lead the weekly study groups when they begin next week.
The 2:30 p.m. session Tuesday will focus on the Obama presidential campaign.
Panelists at the 2:30 p.m. session July 21 will discuss the state of the Republican Party. The final session at 2:30 p.m. July 28 will feature Bobby Schmuck, a member of the White House Office of Political Affairs, for an insider’s perspective on the administration.
All sessions of “Everything’s Jacques” at the institute, 2350 Petefish Drive, are free and open to the public.
