Generous work
To the editor:
Our family would like to commend the Lawrence Humane Society for its good work in caring for so many homeless dogs, some of which other shelters refuse. Our family has obtained its last three dogs from the shelter, and they have been wonderful loving pets.
Please don’t criticize the shelter for taking animals others won’t. We should be proud and happy of the good, generous work of our humane society.
