Feel-good act
To the editor:
Generally I would applaud anyone’s effort to raise awareness of the plight of homeless dogs. I’m sure “Hotel for Dogs” is a funny, feel-good film, but is buying a ticket the best way to help?
Want to feel good and do something to benefit REAL shelter dogs? Send a check to the Lawrence Humane Society, P.O. Box 651, Lawrence, 66044. That’s where my money is going.
