The Lawrence-Douglas County Health Department is having an orientation meeting about child care licensing.

The meeting will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the first-floor meeting room at the Lawrence-Douglas County Health Department, 200 Maine.

The meeting will provide information regarding registration and licensing of family day care homes. Registration or licensing is not required when a family member provides care for a relative.
