Army Pvt. Gabriel H.J. O’Brien has graduated from A Company 2nd Battalion 81st Armor Regiment One Station Unit Training at Fort Knox, Ky. The 15-week program consists of U.S. Army heritage and tradition, drill and ceremony, Army physical fitness program, first aid, combatives, weapons, training, marksmanship, tactical movement and urban operations training, check point training, land navigation training, and HMMWW and M1A1 Abrams tank crewman training.

O’Brien will be stationed in South Korea. He is a 2008 graduate of Lawrence High School and the son of Bill and Dana Holloway.
