Instructive film

To the editor:

For those parents who wish to teach their children, and I do not mean very young children, about the Holocaust, take them to see “The Boy in Striped Pajamas” at Liberty Hall. The movie contains no graphic scenes but is extremely powerful nonetheless. The film was done in English, but all of the actors brought out the true nature of their characters, from SS officers to the family of the concentration camp commander to the victims. What the Nazis did to Jews, Poles, Russians, and other peoples must never be forgotten or denied as some persons now do. This movie reminds us that these events occurred less than 70 years ago.
