Kansas legislators who represent the Lawrence area will discuss the upcoming legislative session during a public forum Thursday at the Dole Institute of Politics.

The forum, sponsored by the Lawrence Branch of the Association of University Women, will begin at 7:30 p.m. Coffee and cookies will be available at 7 p.m. for legislators and others who want to gather for informal discussions.

Questions concerning state issues will be accepted from the audience during the forum. Legislators who have indicated they will participate are: Sens. Marci Francisco and Sen. Tom Holland, and Reps. Barbara Ballard, Tony Brown, Paul Davis, Ann Mah and Tom Sloan.
