Executive director of Castle Tea Room named

The Board of Directors of the Libuse Kriz-Fiorito Historical Foundation has announced André N. Bollaert as the executive director of the Castle Tea Room, 1307 Mass.

He will be responsible for all operational aspects of the Castle Tea Room and begin working full-time work Sunday.

Bollaert earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of Colorado and an Associate of Arts degree in restaurant management from Colorado Mountain College. He has hospitality experience in service and management in Steamboat Springs, Denver, and Boulder, Colo.

Previously, he served as the executive director of Lawrence Habitat for Humanity and the manager of the Roger Hill Volunteer Center. He was also the managing partner of Bollaert Associates, a consulting firm focusing on fundraising program development and strategic planning, as well as operating a custom remodeling and cabinet business.
