Moon Marbles in Bonner Springs is a fantastic place. There are many items there that I haven't seen in years. There are marble-making demonstrations and the owner tells a funny story about how he got into the business by accident.

riverdrifter: My family loves the pepper rings too! Did you know Doug will ship to your home?

To nekansan - there were 24 finalists. Wichita Aviation was one of them as were Winter Livestock in Dodge City and Brookover Feedyard in Garden City. Check out the 8wonders.org website to find out more about this cool contest. It's all up to the public to submit nominations and also to vote.

Kind of blows my mind to talk about the wonders of Kansas commerce with no mention of the aviation industry or agriculture?

Brandt's Market has great bologna. Try one of Doug's "pepper rings" as he calls them. A mandatory stop on the way to pheasant hunting in NW Kansas.

Moon marble is a great place to take you back to your childhood. It is almost overwhelming with old toys, new toys, marbles, marbles, marbles. Fun place to spend a couple of hours and you can watch them make a marble

Brant's Meat Market is definitely worth a visit if you head to northwest Kansas. Fantastic jerky, great sausage, and exceptional service.

I've never heard of any of these things or places (except for Lindsbourg and Bonner Springs).
