Share the wealth
To the editor:
All people should have a fair chance to live life to the fullest and not have to worry about taxes. Anyone who has a small paycheck can’t afford to deal with taxes and end up in debt. Raising taxes for the rich and lowering taxes for the poor could help this problem greatly.
As the years go by, taxes are getting harder and harder to pay. Some people think paying higher taxes is not fair for the upper class, yet they can afford to help those less fortunate. If taxes could equalize the wealth more, there is no telling what will happen. It could be a great opportunity for us, but there is a chance it could harm the society as well. It might make the wealthy have to work harder and those in poverty work less, but this is very unlikely.
No matter who the president is, it is important that we care for the well-being of everyone. Our society will be made even better with the new changes that will be made. We have a good country now, but there is always room for improvement. Spreading our wealth is an issue that many people don’t think about, but it is one of the most important issues for the world.
