Peoples Bank-Albuquerque and Lewallen Mortgage have announced that they have joined forces.

The agreement became effective Sunday.

The new entity is called Lewallen Mortgage, a division of Peoples Bank.

Peoples Bank, with assets of $367 million, is a full service banking organization with 15 locations across northeast Kansas and northern New Mexico including Albuquerque, Taos and Red River.
