Hawks, Cops & Kids event scheduled for Feb. 14
The Big Brothers Big Sisters annual Hawks, Cops & Kids will take place on Valentine’s Day, Saturday, Feb. 14, in the Robinson Health Center on the Kansas University campus.
The free event offers children from third to eighth grade an opportunity to learn personal safety and health tips. Local law enforcement officers and KU student athletes will assist at the event, which is from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Big Brothers Big Sisters, 1525 W. Sixth St., will be accepting applications for the event through noon Tuesday.
