Kansas University’s Natural History Museum will celebrate Charles Darwin’s 200th birthday this month.
A talk in the museum Wednesday will begin the events. Invertebrate paleontology curator and professor Bruce Lieberman will give the talk at 7 p.m.
“Darwin’s Journey,” a new exhibit at the museum, will open Feb. 12, which is Darwin’s birthday. From 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. that day, the museum will provide cake and fruit punch during an open house. All events are free.

Someday the Enlightenment will reach this country, maybe even Bondmen. The darwinspredictions link is especially hilarious. It is a ridiculous attempt to discredit the man, but maybe if you get the other %99.75 of scientists in the world on board with you then you'll have something. By the way, the irony behind a creationist criticizing the scientific community for a display of so-called "religous euphoria" is so thick that I could spread it on a bagel.
