Weather causes 26 people to seek treatment in LMH emergency room
There have been 26 weather-related emergency room visits at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
Belinda Rehmer, LMH spokeswoman, said between Christmas Eve and 2 p.m. Monday, there were:
• Seven visits due to motor-vehicle accidents.
• Seven visits due to sledding accidents.
• 12 visits because of falling on ice and/or snow.
Thirteen of the accidents occurred Sunday.
