The founder of a shoe company with a new kind of business model is scheduled to speak Jan. 26 at Kansas University.
Blake Mycoskie is founder and chief shoe giver at TOMS Shoes. The business practices a “one for one” business model and donates one pair of shoes to a child in need for every pair of shoes it sells.
Mycoskie is scheduled to speak at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 26 at the Lied Center. The event is free and open to the public, but tickets are required for entry.
Tickets will be available 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, starting Jan. 11 at the SUA Box Office on Level 4 of the Kansas Union.
